The ISEQ-index of Irish shares has found itself deep into the red again this morning losing 140.84 points at 7604.92 as pressure from yesterday's global losses weigh in on Irish trading.
Banking stocks suffered the most dramatic losses since opening this morning with IL&P plunging 62c to €14.30. AIB has taken a 43c fall at €16.27 while Anglo Irish dropped 38c at €10.90.
Bank of Ireland managed to stem its losses slightly shedding just 25c off its share price at €11.90.
The only beacon of light worth mentioning is the 21c jump by Paddy Power where shares currently stand at €28.22.
