New York state labour officials have issued two safety violations to the producers of the Broadway musical 'Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark'.
A state official confirmed that the citations were issued for a trio of accidents that injured performers.
In December, actor Christopher Tierney plunged off a platform, and authorities determined his safety tether had not been properly anchored.
The other citation involved two actors hurt while rehearsing a stunt with a stage out of position.
No fines have been assessed in connection with the citations, but state labour officials will be conducting unannounced inspections.
The violations were first reported by The New York Times.
