Punjabi the pick of Trial entries
Punjabi is one of 10 entries for the Racing Post iPhone App HBLB Champion Hurdle Trial at Kempton on Saturday.
The two-mile contest was added to the fixture due to the loss of last weekend’s Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton and provides reigning champion hurdler Punjabi with a prep race before the defence of his crown.
His trainer Nicky Henderson has expressed his delight that the race had been formed and he looks keen to support the event having also entered Afsoun and French Opera.
Andy Turnell’s talented performer Blue Bajan could bid to bounce back to form, Border Castle could return from a lengthy absence and Mon Michel is a possible for Gary Moore.
Earth Magic, Spider Boy, Supernoverre and Treaty Flyer complete the entries.
