Gardaí investigate theft of drugs from Louth pharmacy

Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a pharmacy in Co. Louth.

Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a pharmacy in Co. Louth.

A variety of controlled drugs and an undisclosed sum of cash was taken from the safe of the premises in Castlebellingham during the robbery which happened at around 4.45am this morning.

Gardaí say the majority of the drugs taken were in blister packs and could be potentially harmful if taken without medical supervision.

Anyone with information on the burglary or the whereabouts of the drugs is asked to contact Gardaí.
