Woman driver held up at gunpoint in Cork

A women driver has been held up in an armed robbery in Youghal, Co Cork this afternoon.

A women driver has been held up in an armed robbery in Youghal, Co Cork this afternoon.

It happened shortly before 1pm on the Ardmore Road.

Three men wearing balaclavas, one armed with a gun, stopped the woman on the road and robbed her.

The men were driving a stolen jeep.

Gardaí in Youghal are appealing for witnesses.
