Gardaí in Cork have released a woman arrested earlier this week over the alleged running of a brothel in the city.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was arrested on Tuesday evening on suspicion of operating a brothel at an apartment on the North Mall.
Gardaí raided the premises and informally interviewed a young woman they found in the apartment.
In a follow up operation, a rented house on the south side of the city was raided and 10 mobile phones, a computer and DVDs were seized.
A file on the matter is due to be prepared for the DPP.
