An Israeli military delegation called off a visit to Britain today fearing they could face possible war crimes charges.

British law allows Palestinians and their supporters to seek the prosecution of visiting Israeli politicians and military officers over Israeli military operations in Palestinian territories.

Israeli officials said the cancellation was made after British authorities could not guarantee the officers would not be arrested.
