The Russian commission set up to investigate an air crash in the Black Sea earlier this month has concluded that a stray Ukrainian missile downed the plane.

The airliner, which was en route from Israel to Siberia, crashed on October 4th, killing all 78 people on board. US officials immediately said the crash was caused by a Ukrainian missile but the Ukraine stringently denied this.

However, investigators said today that the US was correct.
