Cavan made it four wins out of six in Division 1B of the Allianz National football League at Milltown Malbay.

The west Clare venue hosted a blustery breeze making it very difficult for good football.

Despite the conditions, Cavan recorded an emphatic victory and apart from an early spell, dominated throughout

leading 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time.

Pat Kerrigans men put in an impressive second-half display to run out worthy winners.

The only goal of the game came to Cavan two minutes from the end from Peter Reilly who scored following good work by Larry Reilly and Mickey Graham.
