Man recovering in hospital after Limerick shooting

A man is recovering in hospital this morning following a shooting incident in Limerick city last night.

A man is recovering in hospital this morning following a shooting incident in Limerick city last night.

It is understood that two men sustained gunshot wounds following an altercation in O’Malley Park.

One man was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital at 5pm yesterday evening, where he's said to be in a stable condition.

The second is reported to have refused medial assistance.
