The space shuttle Endeavour has docked with the Alpha international space station, two days after taking off from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Endeavour’s mission was to deliver a new three-man crew to the station to relieve the men who have been aboard since August.

The new crew will stay on board until May.

Before Endeavour begins the journey back to Earth, two of its crew will venture out on a spacewalk to perform maintenance on the outside of the space station.
