US spy plane crashes in south-west Asia

A US Air Force U-2 spy plane has crashed in south-west Asia, the US military said today in Iraq.

A US Air Force U-2 spy plane has crashed in south-west Asia, the US military said today in Iraq.

The cause of the crash and the pilot’s status were not known, US Central Command said in a brief written statement.

The crash happened last night. The military did not immediately provide further details.
