Police in the North are investigating a gun attack on a house in Co Down last night.

Police in the North are investigating a gun attack on a house in Co Down last night.

Two shots were fired at the house at Altnaveagh Park in Newry just after 11.30pm, causing damage to the back door.

One man was inside, but was not injured in the attack.

The PSNI says a motive for the shooting has yet to be established.
