One of Ireland's leading farming groups says it fears foot-and-mouth disease is not fully under control in England.

One of Ireland's leading farming groups says it fears foot-and-mouth disease is not fully under control in England.

The comment follows the discovery of another suspected case of the virus in a herd of sheep in Surrey.

The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association says it believes England resumed exports too quickly after the previous outbreaks in July and August.

It says the incubation period for the disease appears to have been longer than anyone expected.
