The body of a man has been found in the River Shannon.

The body of a man has been found in the River Shannon.

It was found at around 10.30am near the stretch of water where two Limerick teenagers were found drowned in June.

A post mortem is being carried out this afternoon at the Mid West Regional hospital in Limerick.
