Netflix to show Irish animation Puffin Rock to kids around the world
Great news for animation lovers!
Netflix has acquired Puffin Rock, the children's animation series from Kilkenny's Cartoon Saloon.
Puffin Rock follows a family of puffins living an island of the coast of Ireland.
Young puffling, Oona, and her little brother, Baba, explore the island with their friends, and shorts and filled with their stories.

Of course, it's no other than Roscommon native Chris O'Dowd.
IFTN reports that the deal means the Chris O'Dowd-narrated show will be seen in France, Germany, the Benelux countries, the US, Canada and Latin America from September.
