Saha justifies selection
Louis Saha’s double allowed Manchester United to withstand a late West Brom fightback to claim maximum points at the Hawthorns.
The Frenchman justified his continued presence in the Red Devils side to the exclusion of Ruud van Nistelrooy by powering the visitors into a 16th-minute lead before doubling their advantage with a well-taken second after the break.
It took Saha’s tally for the season to 13 and proved enough to see United home even though Nathan Ellington breathed fresh life into Albion hopes with a late header.
