A man is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle collision in Co Offaly.

A man is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle collision in Co Offaly.

The crash between a motorbike and a van happened after 6pm yesterday evening at Cloghan.

The motorcyclist, who is in his mid 20s, was removed to Tullamore General Hospital

A second man who is believed to be in his 30s was also brought to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí at Banagher are investigating the incident.
