Junior Minister Brian Lenihan is set to announce plans to construct more playgrounds in Ireland, according to reports this morning.

Junior Minister Brian Lenihan is set to announce plans to construct more playgrounds in Ireland, according to reports this morning.

The reports said the construction of new play areas would be the central plank of a new Government policy drawn up at the request of the cabinet.

The policy is due to be published today by Mr Lenihan.
