Police are still trying to trace the family of a nine-year-old who says he was left at a bus stop by his uncle.
Police believe Gurrinder Singh, who only speaks Punjabi, caught a bus to Southall, west London before wandering in to a clinic in Hartington Road, Southall, at 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Police are now looking for family or friends of the boy, who said he lived in a three-bedroom house with his uncle in Southall for two or three years.
Police believe Gurrinder had been in the area for a number of hours before being found – he stated he had got to Southall on a “bendy bus” believed to be Route 207, which runs from Shepherds Bush to Hayes by-pass.
Chief Inspector Keith Lunson from Ealing Police said: “We are keen to reunite Gurrinder with his family. We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Gurrinder on a bus with his uncle, and we would specifically encourage his uncle to come forward.”
Police say Gurrinder is an Asian Sikh, 5ft, of medium build and with a large distinctive mole on his lower left cheek.
He was found wearing a yellow jumper with the words “3 Game” on the front, blue jeans with multiple pockets, a white long-sleeved shirt with pink vertical stripes, white socks, and red and beige trainers.
He was also wearing a black hat with a red Reebok logo on the front and a bangle on his left wrist.
His uncle is described as white, in his 30s, of slim build and around 5ft 8in tall.
Anyone who may recognise Gurrinder or has information is asked to contact Ealing Missing Persons Unit on 020 8236 1040.
