Last season’s top novice chaser Moscow Flyer is set to return to action at the Northern Ireland Festival of Racing at Down Royal on Saturday.
The Jessica Harrington-trained gelding won his five completed starts in his first season over fences, including the Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival, and is on course for the Grade Three Killultagh Properties Chase at the weekend.
Mrs Harrington said: “Moscow Flyer is well and the race fits into my plans. He has won twice at the Down Royal Festival so he obviously likes the place.
“After Down Royal he will be trained for the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown Park at the beginning of next month. His main target will be the Queen Mother Chase at Cheltenham in March.”
