Roscommon have a two-point lead at the interval in their Bank of Ireland Connacht Senior Football Championship semi-final against All-Ireland runners-up Galway at Tuam Stadium.

Galway started well, but Nigel Dineen combined well with Gerry Lohan to produce an early goal for the underdogs.

Galway replied through points from captain Padraig Joyce.

However, on the stroke of half-time corner-forward Frankie Dolan scored a vital Roscommon goal to give them the half-time lead.
