Man in court accused of Sheola Keaney murder

A man appeared before a Cork court tonight charged with the murder of 19-year-old Sheola Keaney.

A man appeared before a Cork court tonight charged with the murder of 19-year-old Sheola Keaney.

Thomas Kennedy (aged 21) of Russell Heights, Cobh, Co Cork was charged with murder at Midleton District Court.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Mallow District Court next Tuesday.

The young woman’s body was discovered just off a laneway behind a rugby club in the small seaside town of Cobh last Sunday.
