A woman has been air-lifted to safety from Bray Head, after seriously injuring her leg.

A woman has been air-lifted to safety from Bray Head, after seriously injuring her leg.

The 19-year-old was rescued by paramedics, the Irish Coastguard helicopter and a Mountain Rescue team.

The Coastguard helicopter airlifted her from an awkward and difficult to access position about 100 metres from the top of Bray Head.

Visibility was said to be poor at the time of the rescue.
