Fulham new-boy Lee Cook has vowed to prove his worth in the Barclays Premier League after completing his protracted transfer from QPR this week.
Cook became manager Lawrie Sanchez’s seventh summer signing when the Championship outfit agreed to a reported £2.5million deal and has set his sights on showing the club’s fans he deserves his chance in the top flight.
“It’s been an ongoing saga for the past two or three weeks and I’m happy to finally get the move done,” he told the club’s official website, www.fulhamfc.com.
“I’m looking forward to playing in the Premier League and I’m really relishing the challenge. I just want to prove to everyone I can play there.
“I want to show the Fulham supporters I’m a decent player and the gaffer said he thinks I can provide the ammunition for the forwards and that’s what I’m here to do.
“I hope the fans will enjoy the way I play.”
