Oscar-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams is suing his own impersonator.
He claims the fake Robin Williams and his agent are engaged in a scam, conning people out of large amounts of money.
Michael Clayton runs a website in which he claims to be a Williams impersonator but according to legal documents obtained by the Celebrity Justice website, he has taken the job one step too far.
Clayton’s agent, Michael Pool, allegedly told a potential client he could get Williams to appear at a fundraiser.
The woman then got a call from someone purporting to be Williams, even impersonating his Mrs Doubtfire voice.
Convinced, she decided to book the star, but was then allegedly told to stump up almost €2,000 for his airfare.
