Man dies in Roscommon accident

A male rear seat passenger was killed in Co Roscommon this morning when the car in which he was travelling struck a tree.

A male rear seat passenger was killed in Co Roscommon this morning when the car in which he was travelling struck a tree.

The accident happened a 3.30am at Elphin.

The driver of the car, and another passenger - both males - were taken to Sligo General Hospital.
