Roscommon and Longford will contest the Allianz Football League Division 4 final on Saturday, April 23, following today's final round matches.
Conor Devanney (0-04) and substitute Enda Kenny kicked vital points late on as Roscommon claimed a 1-14 to 0-15 win over Connacht rivals Leitrim at Dr. Hyde Park.
Roscommon led by 0-09 to 0-08 at half-time, but Leitrim moved 0-12 to 0-10 ahead midway through the half.
A goal from Kevin Higgins (1-01) spurred Roscommon on, before Emlyn Mulligan grabbed an equalising score for Leitrim.
However, Roscommon were able to dig deep and register their seventh win of the league run, progressing through to the final and earning promotion to Division 3 next year.
Longford are also heading for a league final appearance on Saturday week and a Division 3 berth in 2012 thanks to a 1-21 to 1-12 triumph over Carlow at Pearse Park.
Longford led by eight points at half-time, with Carlow gifted a lifeline thanks to a JJ Smith goal.
However, Smith was shown a red card a minute later and Longford ran out comfortable winners in the end.
Elsewhere, Michael McLoughlin missed a late scoring chance for Wicklow as the Garden County side and Clare played out an action-packed 1-17 to 0-20 draw at Aughrim.
Fifteen of Clare's 20 points came from open play with the wind-backed Banner men leading by 0-11 to 0-07 at half-time.
The visitors leaked a late goal to Leighton Glynn which was not enough to gain promotion for Wicklow.
In the opening game of the day, the Fermanagh footballers recorded a 0-14 to 0-08 win over London at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.
Fermanagh led by 0-08 to 0-04 at half-time with Ryan Jones and Daniel Kille amongst their scorers.
Ciaran McAllion and Eoin O'Neill kept London in touch, but Fermanagh were always in the ascendancy.
