The man police suspect of shooting three people in a brazen attack in Australia’s second-largest city this week has surrendered to authorities, police said today.

Christopher Wayne Hudson, a member of the Hell’s Angels biker gang, walked into a police station Wallan, about 30 miles north of Melbourne and handed himself in, Victoria state police said.

A gunman opened fire during the morning rush hour in central Melbourne on Monday, killing one man and critically wounding another who came to the aid of a woman whom the gunman was assaulting.

The woman, who police allege was Hudson’s girlfriend, was also shot and wounded.
