Pedestrian dies in Wexford accident

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car near Enniscorthy in Co Wexford last night.

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car near Enniscorthy in Co Wexford last night.

The accident happened at around 10.15pm in the Brownswood area.

The car involved has been seized for examination, but no arrests have been made.

A lane of the N11 at Brownswood has also been closed while investigations continue.
