UCD will host Bray Wanderers looking to refuse a dreadful run of form against the Seagulls that saw the Students end on the losing side four times last term when they faced their near neighbours.
The Students beat Cork City in their opening fixture then were unlucky to go down at Sligo Rovers while Bray are looking for their first points after loses to St Patrick’s Athletic and Derry City.
UCD welcomed back Graham Rusk from a groin injury last week against Sligo Rovers and he came through the game unscathed.
Paul Corry (foot), Gary Burke (back), Samir Belhout (foot), Tomas Boyle (back), Sean Russell and Mark Langtry(foot) remain sidelined.
Bray have doubts over Sean Houston (hamstring) and Colm Tresson (Achilles) while Pierce Sweeney is suspended and Shane O'Connor is long term injury victim with a groin injury.
UCD boss Martin Russell said: "Bray are always competitive. There is a fair amount of lads there from last year and they know the ropes, as I said they beat us four in a row last year so I am not expecting an easy result by any stretch."
Bray's Director of Football Pat Devlin said: "This is an early season six pointer .It's a game we need to get something out of – we certainly don't want to lose. Games between ourselves and UCD are usually very tight and difficult to predict and I expect this will be no different."
