Winehouse's mum urges daughter to axe tour
Amy Winehouse's mum has urged her to pull out of her UK tour - or risk "destroying" herself.
The singer was heckled onstage last Wednesday on the opening night of her tour in Birmingham, earning criticism from fans for her poor performance.
And mum Janis believes Winehouse should scrap her dates altogether as she is "stressed out" after her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was jailed earlier this month.
She says: "My heart goes out to her. She is under immense stress over Blake's imprisonment. I wouldn't hesitate to tell her to pull out if I feared she was in danger. I don't want Amy destroying herself."
But Janis remains confident the troubled star will recover, adding: "I think she will get by and come through what is a terribly lonely time for her right now."
Fielder-Civil is currently being held at London's Pentonville Prison after his arrest earlier this month on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a charge of grievous bodily harm.
