Kidman invests in new safety measure
Australian actress Nicole Kidman has paid out $9,000 (€7,383) on six guard dogs in a bid to frighten away potentially dangerous stalkers.
The single Stepford Wives star is delighted she now boasts a household full of pets, because she's no longer scared of spending nights home alone.
A friend says: "Nicole is aware that she hasn't really thought enough about safety in the past.
However, since fellow stars such as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Britney Spears have got stalkers, she thinks it's time to do something about it.
"She's single now, without a man around the house, so having the dogs makes her feel so much safer."
