Enda Kenny and Pat Rabbitte will give their assessment of the first few days of the General Election campaign this morning.
The two alternative coalition leaders will face the media together today for the first time since the campaign began.
They will discuss their progress so far, but a spokesman has said it is still too early to assess the impact of their joint policies.
Fine Gael has a mountain to climb after the disaster of 2002, while Labour is stuck in or around where it was in that poll five years ago.
