Positive morning for ISEQ

The ISEQ recovered some recent losses this morning, gaining 58.43 points to 9189.07.

The financials did well overall, with Anglo Irish Bank leading the way, up 30c to €14.76. Bank of Ireland was not far behind, gaining 21c to €15. Allied Irish Bank had a good morning, up 12c to €20.34. Irish Life & Permanent endured the only loss of note so far, dropping 14c to €18.41.

Elsewhere, Cpl Resources and FBD Holdings both gained 10c to climb to €7.40 and €29.80 respectively.

The biggest gain of the day came for Kingspan (up 40c to €18.75), with IAWS also doing well, gaining 38c to €16.03.

Kerry Group enjoyed a 13c rise to €20.83, with Paddy Power climbing 17c to €22.85.
