The Government is working on plans to enlarge the country's off-shore exploration field.

The Government is working on plans to enlarge the country's off-shore exploration field.

Officials at the Department of Marine and Natural Resources are working on an international agreement, which will see the seabed exploration expand from 200 to 350 kilometres off our coast.

Minister Dermot Ahern said it would have a massive bearing on our exploration efforts offshore.
