Chelsea will have blip, says Fergie

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects Chelsea to slip up in the Barclays Premiership title race.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects Chelsea to slip up in the Barclays Premiership title race.

Ferguson is confident Roman Abramovich’s side will lose games and believes Chelsea’s inexperience of title run-ins could hand Manchester United and Arsenal an edge.

“Chelsea will have a blip. They will lose games,” Ferguson told Daily Star Sunday.

“It’s then a case of how their players react which will be important. Arsenal and ourselves have got that experience.

“We have seen title challenges be over by March. Chelsea don’t have the experience of winning when it really matters.”
