Man dies in Mayo collision

A man has died following a crash on the main Castlebar to Westport road in Co Mayo last night.

A man has died following a crash on the main Castlebar to Westport road in Co Mayo last night.

The crash happened at around 10pm and the road remains closed this morning for technical examination.

The fatality brings the number of people killed on Ireland's roads in the past 24 hours to three.
