Family escape injury in gun attack on north Belfast house

A number of people have escaped injury during a gun attack on a family home in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

A number of people have escaped injury during a gun attack on a family home in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

Several shots were fired at the house in Cranbrook Court just before 10pm last night, while the family's car was also damaged by two shotgun blasts.

The motive for the attack is unknown, but paramilitaries are not thought to have been involved.
