Motoring services company Toad is expected to reveal a strong performance when it unveils its full-year results on Wednesday.

The Surrey-based group, which specialises in car security products, will also launch a new product to complement its existing services.

Analysts are expecting Toad to build on solid growth last year, which saw profit up by 37% to £1.37 million and group turnover up 5% to £16.9 million.

The company has benefited from signing partnerships with major motoring websites such as jamjar.com, autotrader.co.uk, autohit.com and carmarkets.co.uk.

Toad has also successfully launched a new multi-media range of car navigation, video and TV screens.

Products include the Video Traveller - a TV screen and video player in a bag that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter and enables passengers to watch a film on the move.

The company expanded last November with the launch of its telematics division.

It hopes to pioneer a range of voice-activated 'pay as you go' services such as SOS, navigation, traffic information, route guidance, hotel and restaurant guides and booking, routing to the nearest petrol station, e-mail and internet access on demand.
