David Trimble, will almost certainly face a leadership challenge if he refuses to stand down within days, a leading anti-Agreement member of his own party claimed today.

David Trimble, will almost certainly face a leadership challenge if he refuses to stand down within days, a leading anti-Agreement member of his own party claimed today.

The claim was made by South Antrim MP David Burnside.

He says he expects someone to challenge Mr Trimble after he came within two votes of facing a debate on his leadership.
