Gardaí investigating the murder of prominent dissident republican Vincent Ryan are renewing their appeal for information.

The 25-year-old was shot a number of times on McKee Road, Finglas in Dublin on Monday.

Investigating officers are tracing the whereabouts of a silver Volkswagen Golf registration number 07-KE-10213.

This car was taken during a burglary at Cluaindara, Derrinstown in county Kildare on October 13 2015 and was found burnt out at Red Lane, Newhall in Naas on the February 29.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle is being asked to contact Finglas Garda Station.
