Justice Minister John O'Donoghue has welcomed a report by the international decommissioning body confirming re-engagement in talks by the IRA.

The body said it believes progress can be made on the arms issue.

It added that it would build on that at future meetings, which it expected to take place soon.

The UVF and UDA also told the Commission that they are willing to consider decommissioning, but neither would so until the IRA made moves first.
