ITV Digital has 60 potential buyers
Sixty potential buyers are interested in acquiring all or part of ITV Digital.
The potential buyers, who have come forward in the past 24 hours, include some interested in buying it as a going concern.
Administrators Deloitte & Touche announced yesterday that they were ready to break the company up and sell off its assets, as money to keep it going was running out.
Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell insists that the company's collapse doesn't spell the end for the British government's hopes of switching the whole country to digital TV by 2010.
The technology's future in Britain is still "positive", she says.
But she made clear that there would be no financial bail-out for ITV Digital or the Football League.
