Police in Canada have located a stolen car 27 years after it was taken.

The motor was reported missing by its owner in 1984 after it was stolen from a garage, and it has now been found in another garage in the same city.

The officials have launched an investigation to determine where the vehicle has been in the last 27 years, but no arrests have been made so far.

Suzanne FitzGerald, a media spokesperson with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, said: "The police are currently in possession of the vehicle and an investigation is being conducted."
