The sides cancelled each other out as this game petered out to a scoreless draw as Drogheda ended Shelbourne's winning run.

Shels' Jason Byrne had the only real chance of a poor first half.

Drogheda applied some decent pressure after the break but it was Shels who made the better openings with Gary Rogers having to make stops from David Crawley and then Glen Fitzpatrick late on.
