GAA extend qualifying system for ladies' football

The GAA have extended the back-door qualifier system to the ladies senior football championship.

The GAA have extended the back-door qualifier system to the ladies senior football championship.

The new format will be implemented next year and will run for a single campaign before being subject to review.

Similar to the hurling championship of seasons gone by, the beaten provincial finalists will be given another outing.
