The clean up is underway at a Limerick school after a dispute with subcontractors yesterday afternoon.
As class ended at Kilfinane primary school - a number of subcontractors arrived and began removing furniture, fittings and other equipment.
Shocked parents prevented them from leaving and last night the school secured a High Court injunction preventing them from taking any property.
The dispute ended on foot of the injunction and after commitments on payment from the main contractor.
Siobhán O'Flynn is the school's principal and she says they have asked parents to delay bringing their children to class this morning, while they get everything back to normal.
"Just in order to get our heads together and tidy up…There were doors removed in front of shelving areas, display boards for children's artwork and that was taken down. We're trying to locate it and get things looking normal again before children come in."
