Finnish police said they believe a man shot his wife and two children dead before killing himself at their home in central Finland.

Finnish police said they believe a man shot his wife and two children dead before killing himself at their home in central Finland.

Police were called by neighbours who heard shots today at the house in a suburb of the city of Oulu, 370 miles north of the capital, Helsinki.

Officers got into the house and found the four bodies with gunshot wounds.

Police said they were investigating. No other details were immediately available.
