Fianna Fáil's Mary O'Rourke has conceded defeat in Longford-Westmeath.

Mrs O'Rourke said she was glad she had faced the campaign rather than "taking her pot of money and running away".

The former Minister and Senator said she was not interested in a job in the Seanad.
